@ Anti-branding: Isn't it obvious that an empty brand which doesn't fuilfll its promises won't ever be successful? Isn't branding and especially personal branding about creating and selling a coherent package, wrapping some kind of legend around it and refining and controlling subsequent expectations for future expressions?Also, we once established that the way I wear my pants, the manner I lace my shoes, style my hair, and keep my posture are fortunately/unfortunately elements that DO make a difference, hence, branding isn't dead yet and won't be too soon. NASCAR does not benefit the auto industry at all these days. They do not create or test new technologies for consumer road cars via NASCAR, hence the downfall of the American motor industry.Really? Nascar killed the American auto industry? I think there are 2 entities that are much more guilty…The governments never ceasing regulations and The Unions with their ever increasing wage demands.Granted, Government and Unions have both done some good but that time has past.

im also a f1 fan [from germany] but i love nascar/indy car. there’s almost nothing about getting the right breaking point or the best technique how to to drive through complicated turns (i hope you know what i mean), but theres (almost) all about speed. i mean, that’s real race driving! well, not like drag racing, but IMO thats real speed race driving.
