I can't believe Kenseth is leaving Roush. At least he has a talented replacement. Where do you think Kenseth will end up?

I think he will end up in the 20 at JGR Home Depot wants a championship driver and there really isn't alot of options besides maybe Penske but doesn't sound like he will be there with Ford wishing him luck.

I think he's the starter kit for the JGR 4th team... Champions Provisional means they aren't sweating points on the first 5 next year.

If Dale were still alive, Matt wouldn't be doing this.  Dale wouldn't have allowed Toyota to enter NASCAR and you all know it.

Time to drag out this soapbox again.  Kenseth has driven #17 now for close to 15 years.  Stenhouse has run for the Championship in the #6 car this year and last, and when he's run Cup it's been in the 6.. Roush had dibs on both numbers. Why not just change the team's number to 6 for 2013?

Sponsors wanted to keep the 17. Best Buy is back for 12 races, Fifth Third Bank back for 4, Zest is back for an unknown amount of races (probably 4). RFR says they have sponsorship for 70% of the season (if you do the math, it'd be 25 races). So with 20 races sponsored, I'd say they have another sponsor signed too. Wouldn't you know that Cargill is sponsoring Ricky at Dover in the Cup race this weekend? Maybe they will do 5 Cup races next season?

I just don't buy the argument like I would if Best Buy were paying for the full season, and if they hadn't just come from the 43... and then the 19...  and the 66... etc; let alone a sponsor paying for 4 like Zest.

You live by that logic, and Matt should have had to change to #26 when Crown Royal started sponsoring him (full season).

...and with an all-new look to the Fusion for 2013, not like they're just Photoshopping Matt's name off the car and dropping Ricky's in for any media they're doing.
