Well it seems like FRM is still working on their driver line up but hinted that they wouldn't mind bringing back their 3 drivers from last year..Maybe they can decide to stretch their resources and add a 4th car for Geoff but  that seems unlikely in my opinion.Maybe Germain for Geoff and the #60..they were multi car for most of the season and needs some money to bring it back.
Mark my words, I still think Germain is more done than the steaks we ate on Christmas. Yella Site's been oddly silent, but B Gaughan replied to a tweet on why he left as "EVERYONE left, they closed up."  Casey Mears and the Germain site both have no new news in the past month.

We'll just have to wait and see. Nothing surprises me anymore.

Meanwhile, Smithfield Foods will apparently sponsor Aric Almirola at RPM, in what's said to be worth $3.5 Million (Oh, good! A 7 race sponsor!)

Tommy Baldwin Racing will have an announcement Tuesday about some new stuff they've added to their program for 2012. Sounds like Blaney is staying.

Wouldn't be surprised to see TBR announce Reutimann or Vickers for their 2nd car also Tommy said Golden Corral isn't returning.. They're going to focus on television advertising but he did say Accell Construction is coming back..maybe Big Red and some new sponsors shows up too and he has enough to race 2 cars.

What is the point? There's no way they can say they didn't see a return on their sponsorship.

Meanwhile, I've heard one rumor that they could be starting a part-time Nationwide team. They have the equipment lying around, and if it were to go through, Bobby Santos III would probably be the driver.

So far with Reutimann its just 26 races until they get more sponsorship...which is better than they started last year..they only planned on racing like 16.

R3 Motorsports to run Cup Series in 2012: After completing the full 2011 NASCAR Nationwide season, resulting in a top-30 in points, [#23 Chevy] R3 Motorsports has announced its racing plans for 2012. Robert Richardson, Jr. will return to the seat for a limited NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule. R3 Motorsports has also purchased a fleet of Sprint Cup Chevy's from Earnhardt Ganassi Racing to enter all of the NASCAR Sprint Cup races for the 2012 season. Robert Richardson, Jr. will attempt to qualify for his third Daytona 500 and a few other Cup races as well. Greg Conner will be the crew chief and the team will run the #23 in both series.(R3 Motorsports)(1-3-2012)

I honestly can See Scott riggs, getting the nod to drive when Robert isn't. Since scott is pretty damn good with Underfunded teams.

Scott is pretty damn good period.

Would've contended for wins and at least a Chase spot had Evernham not gone completely out to lunch in 2007.

Found a website with a bunch of paint schemes, for those interested. Some tidbits:

XxxTreme Motorsport, of Chase Austin/Cavi Clothing/Macy's fame, is saying they're going to run the full Sprint Cup Schedule in 2012. No driver announced, but they have a rendering of a #44 ADP/Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Chevrolet on this site, as well as pics on their website, www.xxxtrememotorsport.com.

There's also a picture of a #75 Ford of Derrike Cope's with sponsorship from Creative Recycling. No news on when/where it will run.

Anyway, here's the link: http://nascarnation.us/forum/topics/2012-nascar-paint-schemes?xg_browser=iphone

I heard that they'd be running Chase Austin for ROTY, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Well TNT my good friend, looks like it's official, they're done like dinner. UPDATE: Buckler has suspended operations of his #71 Ford, which carried Andy Lally to series' Rookie of the Year honors. TRG Motorsports made 106 starts from 2009-11 and scored two top-10 finishes.
