HOW DARE A STREAM OF PRACTICE FOR A LATE MODEL RACE NOT WORK. WATCHING PRACTICE WAS THE MOST EXCITING THING I HAD PLANNED THIS MONTH.

Kevin Conway will be running the Super Late Model race. #88
Wow Kevin Conway FTW. Fail.
Update on Conway: He's driving the #33 Extenze Ford. He is starting in 22nd position. He was 10th & 6th respectfully in both SLM practices.

More like watching the Super Late Model qualifying races. (Sorry to be frank, I just couldn't think of something witty to back that up.)

Conway was out of the race at Lap 37 with a Rear End problem. Guess Extenze couldn't fix that issue.

Extenze-enhanced men tend to break a lot of rear ends.

Cousin Caisse put up a 3 spot, sweet and was interviewed and did a hell of an interview!
He was wearing a tork drivers suit and said "expect big things from tork performance this year"
He's a talented driver, with a sponsor....but he didn't say what series...Dr Dick also brought up Seans new daughter..Sean ended the interview with "im not leaving this place without a trophy"
I love the K&N races because you get to see all these hidious paint scheme combinations and cars that might actually be slower than Chris Lafferty

Lucas Lasserre of France stood out last night in the K&N Open to get the final 6 starting spots set. He drove the wheels off & was getting faster by each lap. That battle Lasserre had with Carlos Viera, he wasn't afraid to rubbed fendors to get in the transfer spot. That right there shows his aggression. Like they says, Rubbin' some is racin'. I'll be keeping an eye on him in the Showdown tonight. I'm going to be cheering for my favorite Nationwide driver D.J. Kennington tonight.

Lasserre really did win my respect last night with the way he ran down Viera. He hasn't been in the country a week and his accent is thick as molasses, but he's a fast learner, that's for sure.
But hey, how about Derek Thorn, a fabricator for a lot of teams on the Pro tour, taking the pole by a tenth over the rest of the field? That's a great story.

Conway was getting his doors blown off by 2nd tier Irwindale SLM regulars.
No bigger fraud in Nascar than Conway.

Jason Bowles won over D.J. Kennington. As a Kennington fan, I'm really disappointed he didn't have a little more. Thorn got a penalty during the last run for spinning the then-leader Harraka. Johnny Borneman got 5th, and Pastrana finished 6th on the outside of a 3 wide battle. Steve Wallace managed to derp in the last run and cause a 3 car pileup.

Derek Thorn drives in too deep and accidentally takes out the leader = EOLL Penalty that completely ruins his chances of winning
Carl Edwards blatantly turns left into Brad Keselowski at Gateway and wrecks him at high speed in front of the whole field to win the race = Gets to keep his win, practically no penalty, incident exploited for the sake of ratings
Way to work backwards again, NASCAR! Thanks for robbing us all of a potential upset winner!

That's not hard to do when your car is, you know, failing. He was making up ground during that first run.
Maybe if he was actually running in cars that didn't keep dropping cylinders or having other parts break, he wouldn't run like a jobber.
Also, I'm going to get such a kick out of all the morons who are going to come out and say ''hehaeyehuehea see Steven WALLace rly does suck he can't even beat a bunch of regional drivers huehaha''. No respect at all.

Did not think Thorn deserved the penalty but penalties seem heavy in this race like was in Logano afew years ago that gave it Matt Kobyluck
really sad about Kobyluck, said this may be teams's last race, no sponsors for 2011
Surprising by Pastrana to finsh 6th! Going 3-wide for the last two laps. He defintly has guts
