We have had a rash of situations where people seem to be growing out of their "britches"

We all cuss on the slight end and the filter catches the rest.... For some reason  G/D  and  J/C  are not and IF you so choose to use that harsh language then you'll be banned!

 Dak and I have not the time to tend to this site and it has been abused lately.

We have barely any traffic on the Editorial side of the site and all of it here, as well as these hastles.  We do appreciate the interest but things lately have been out of control.
  You can use different language to get your point across....or send a Private Message  (NOT FOR POSTING HERE)... But the dis respectful attacks have to stop also....Eric has stopped his You Tube posting and I expect his opinion is a valued as the rest. and Eric... the updates are usually on our media side.  Keep it there.

Ya think we can all just say thanks to Phil, Dak, and the others for providing us a place we can come to catch up on the hot topics of the sport and play by their rules?  I don't care for some of the posts from a few of the users but, for the most part, I enjoy it here and that's why I keep coming back. There are ways of reporting users for disrespect, bad language, etc., and, if those don't work, it's not much of a hassle to just breeze past posts I don't like.

Anyways, thanks guys for having us here.

Yes, a HUGE thank you is needed for Phil and Dak. They have an awesome site, which hopefully sees more traffic in the near future, since it seems like they are really working hard to drive more people to actually read the pages. I've clicked through a few times, and they do have some good stuff, considering they do a lot beyond just this site in their everyday lives.

For me, I follow THL on Twitter and getting those it highlights what they have on the home page and news articles and I just click on them and read.  A BIG THANKS to Phil and Dak. I'm also trying to click on the home page more and it is really pretty good

  Thanks to you all for your understanding....I  TOTALLY agree with unbridled about...REPORT IT if you are offended and I or Dak will review and take action.... I cannot follow every post bnut when I get a complaint...I 90% act on it...
 Now...If you choose to be a wimpy Bi-atch and post a belly aching farewell save it and pull your pansy azz skirt up and GO....as one girley -man did.  No real man does that!...OWN what you post!  Thats what your opinion is....Don't wait till your mad and go off then leave telling about how you have bit your tongue long enough , Grow a set and say your mind and stay.....

I sent you and Dak a PM about helping out monitoring the boards. If you want the extra help, I can help out, I've done some mod work at NASRAC, and a few other boards. I'm sure there's others that would be willing to help out. Keep up the good work guys!

First off I think everyone appreciates what Dak and Phil have done and give us, so I'm not sure it needs to be said over and over again month after month.

Now onto Brody, could it have been handled better? Sure. But like Dak and Phil have said they are growing tired of this and that they might shut the board down. If they do does that mean they are talking their ball and going home? No it means they grew tired of the crap going on and made a grown up decision. Brody was tired of the crap going on. I said it at least twice that saidhead only comes on here to start arguments and obviously he saw that too and pointed it out. Everyone has complained about Eric's you tube posts and that seems to be fixed. And only time will tell about his twitter updates because really they aren't opinions they are talking points that normally have nothing to do with the subject. But like what has been pointed out is that Eric has an opinion on stuff even if it is biased it still shouldn't be shunned. I mean a lot of people have biased opinions and they never get called out on it.

Brody was tired of the stuff that has been mentioned and complained about that got some banned for a week. It would have been better to handle it privately but to be fair it appears not much has been handle privately here lately. Instead he made a grown up decision with a little drama flair added to it. Think of it as like Jerry Maguire when he went with a long speech as he walked out.

We don't have many places if any besides this one where we can discuss racing and I think we all know this including Phil and Dak. It wouldn't be possible with all of us which is why this is or was a great place. It's a self policing place and when the senior members are ignored a revolt happens. I hope this stays a great place unfortunately I'm a little discouraged with what I have seen.

Good suggestion... a couple of mods to keep an eye on the board when you guys are away should keep the place in order..

It was in the signatures thread in the General Discussion forum. Personally I think he overreacted but I find it pretty funny that he did that only a day or 2 after calling out Rabbit for doing it.

I was shocked as well. I went to ask Brody why on Facebook and found out he blocked me lol. I had just talked to him Sunday night on facebook and he did not seem angry at me. He was nice to me as he always had been

Phil, I stand by what I posted earlier... like the 66 doing a burnout down pit road on the way to a S&P.

Seriously, if what happens on this board can get you that bent out of shape, take a deeeeep breath, shut down the computer NOW and head to your nearest watering hole, church, dirt track, playground,  movie megaplex, whatever and experience some life. Take time off and let your BP come back down. Maybe some will say the lack of passion I display with this attitude is what's costing NASCAR fans/ratings/tickets but folks, so much more to life.  Period.

Thank you Phil and Dak for THL - it is a fun place to visit but I don't want to live here.
