I just heard the radio talk from last weeks race... do you think it's Dale Jr. or the cars, setups, etc. the reason he's not running well? I think it's both.

Jeff Gluck interviewed both of them after the race and I got the vibe to not take their radio talk to serious.

My opinion is still, I don't think Lance is the answer for Junior. He needs someone more like Eury Sr. Lance has tried to put him in his place but Junior just doesn't listen to him.

Dale needs someone who is going to push him when the chips are down o remain focused, not listen to his foul mouthed horse crap tirades, and put him in his place when need be. One guy in particular comes to mind...Ray Evernham. I don't think Ray would want the job though. Bootie Barker may be another good one, but Bootie seems to have a bit of a temper so when Dale starts his crap talking Bootie might fire right back!

Normally this would be where I make the obligatory Erin Crocker/Ray Evernham joke... but I'll pass today.

As a media figure, Ray has probably placed himself in a position where can't afford to chew out someone like Junior and possibly burn bridges in the future. Now Bootie on the other hand, hooking him up with Junior would be hilarious! Someone who can not just take it but dish it out the same time may be enough to bring him down to earth.

Has Dale Jr really worked well with anyone, other than Tony Sr?? Chad Knaus could be the crew chief and they'd still struggle. I'd say the problem is the driver.
