John Wes Townley won't race for them probably for the rest of 2010. Now, what happens to the team? I can almost see it now, they'll take any and all ride buyers. I wouldn't be shocked to see Tim George Jr. who they announced to be in a RCR car at Road America will race the #21 at Road America without sponsorship.

I still stand by what I said before - if you take a ride-buyer you should be stuck with him or give up the sponsorship.  That said, Dad Townley needs to get his lawyers a sharper pen for the next sponsorship contract they draw up for JWT, because that contract rightfully should have been no play, no pay. Not as if there wasn't some Nationwide team out there who'd agree to those terms.

Not at that quality of ride.

Maybe Daddy Townley figured out "Holy candy, my son REALLY isn't cut out for this!"...

Possibility #1 - I'm sure Braun would find it easier to run 4 full-time operations with some Chicken Bucks.

Possibility #2 - I'm probably the biggest Brendan fan here but with Dad WT willing to find the full season and the South Point only offering 1/3...

Possibility #3 - CJM might have been able to keep the doors open with Chicken Bucks.

Now granted, he might have already approached these teams or others and management in every case said "not that wanker, not for any amount of money..." RCR has good cars, true, but I don't see the crushing dominance as when they ran the 2, 21 and 29 fairly consistently.  These days the 21 looks to be the foundation of the entire program.
