Danica to JRM in 2010

Am i the only one that likes Danica  here  .

I want to like Danica solely because so many people hate her and a lot of it is unjustified.

But when I see her advertisements and listen to her interviews, I just can't get behind her.  It's her body and she can use it to sell products if she'd like, but I prefer the female racers (such as Simona de Silvestro in open wheel) who don't make the least bit of a deal about being female and just recognize they all look the same with their helmets on and if they're talented enough to make it, they'll make it on that, and not on how they look.  I don't fault Danica for exploiting it, but I don't approve of it.  She's not a really charismatic person, either.

I don't really have anything against her I just hate it when people who work hard like Kelly Bires has to take a backseat to somebody who really hasn't did a whole lot and dosen't really have any talent. But I do think this will be a big year for Kelly I think he will go to victory lane alot and has a great future maybe even replacing Mark Martin when he retires.

The sport has come to that today.  Its less about talent and more about the money.

I like Danica. I think she'll do fine in nascar. As for her commercials, I don't think there is a driver who would turn down a big sponsor and get paid big bucks for doing commercials. I say more power to her. As for Bires, if he's good he'll get his chance.  He's gotten more chances than a lot of young developmental drivers already just getting some races for JRM. It's up to him to make the most of it.  Plus I got her autograph at Daytona and she was nice.
