DJ Kennington will drive the #13 for Jennifer Jo Cobb. TJ Bell got some speed out of it last week, so I think Kennington will get it in the field.

The reason there is no #81 entered is because Whitney is basically using the #37 as their 2nd car now. I thought Brian Simo had an agreement to drive the #81 again, but I guess they would rather park Scott Speed. Tony Ave probably would have been in the 38 but Front Row really needs to make the race.

So we are looking at possibly a chase with David Ragan and Paul Menard? I hope Paul Menard wins the championship, just because it would cause yet another change in the system.
Hamlin isn't currently in the top 10 unfortunately, but if he gets passed by both of them or knocks Junior out of the chase for himself.

I don't mind fuel strategy or tire strategy as long as it helps mix it up at the front. Nice to see Menard finally get a win. A great season of first time winners. I'm calling Ambrose next at either Pocono, The Glen, or Bristol. Allmendinger at Michigan, Atlanta, or Texas. Perhaps Cassill at Talladega. Perhaps Gilliland at The Glen or Talladega.
At least 1 more 1st time winner this season.

#99 has withdrawn so down to 42 cars
Jason White to practice #70 in first practice
Jason White in a good Nationwide car for practice. Sweet!!! And he ran faster than Stremme did. If only he could get to race...sigh.

How funny, I was just about to ask how he managed to be 25th fastest in final practice, in a Turner truck. Of those slower than him, only Shane Sieg and Jennifer Jo Cobb will likely finish the race.

In Kahne's post race interview he said he watched Steven Wallace run through people and then said something about the 44 (Cope). Anyone know what he said about her, I didn't catch it?
Angela actually asked what he said on her twitter. I believe it w as something about her swerving down the straights or something similar.

Angela Cope did a okay job. Not very fast, but she stayed out of the way and kept the car in one piece. If Derrike can keep finding the twins these sponsors we'll be seeing more of them.
