PIT to Host Third Annual Open House

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 8, 2012) – Performance Instruction & Training (PIT) is kicking off Charlotte race week by hosting their third annual Open House on Tuesday, May 22nd from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. All are invited to join PIT in touring the 32,000 square foot facility, and gain insight on the pit crew training programs that are offered to those who aspire to become a full-time over the wall pit crew member.

Also, on hand from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. will be an autograph session featuring Red Horse Racing driver’s Timothy Peters and John King along with NASCAR TV personality and PIT partner, Jeff Hammond. Live pit-stop demonstrations on the half hour, starting at 7:30 p.m. will be made to give fans a close up view of a stop. Limited Red Horse Racing race used sheet metal will be part of the memorabilia raffle at 8:00 p.m.

Don’t worry about going hungry, The Sports Page of Mooresville will be there with multiple dinner options. Thirsty? SPEED Energy will be there to quench your thirst with free samples of their four flavored energy drinks. Also on display, John King’s 2012 NextEra Energy Resources 250, No. 7 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra, Daytona International Raceway winning truck.

Stop by PIT’s booth at the NASCAR Pit Crew Challenge on May 17, 2012 at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C. for your Open House flyer and a 10% discount towards Pit Crew U training. Coupons will also be available the evening of the open house.

The open house will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The shop is located at 156 Byers Creek Road, Mooresville, N.C. 28117. Parking is available on site.
