Russell Cook says he thinks Branson would be a perfect site for a speedway for NASCAR races. Cook is proposing a 1 1/4-mile track on 800 acres he owns near the Branson Airport. Cook, who is in construction and land development, says he hopes to start construction by February on the track. He says it would seat 80,000 to 100,000 people and cost an, estimated $150 million.
