Cookies Food Products, manufacturer of “the award-winning sauces America loves to eat,” had its start in a small town in Northwest Iowa. L.D. Cook of Wall Lake, Iowa, produced the first batch of Cookies Bar “B”"Q” Sauce in his kitchen in 1976.
From humble beginnings, the Cookies product line has grown to include four flavors of Bar “B”"Q” Sauce: Cookies Original, Cookies Western Style, Cookies Country Blend and the newest Cookies Sweet Hickory. Other Cookies products include Cookies Wings-N-Things Hot Sauce, Cookies Taco Sauce and Dip, and Cookies Mild and Medium Premium Salsas. Cookies Flavor Enhancer All-Purpose Seasoning is a dry mixture of secret ingredients that can be sprinkled on everything from meat to vegetables to popcorn.
JRR Racing Owner Jay Robinson stated, “Cookies is an award winning company, a first class sponsor addition for our #28, with award winning products. And our team loves to eat and use their great sauces, seasonings, dips and salsa’s.”
Kenny Wallace added, “My racing family recipe is some Country, some Western, and probably a whole lot of Original; just like ‘Cookies.’ Now it’s up to me to give them a good run in the #28 this weekend to go with their award winning products and reputation. It should be a fun weekend on the track in Newton. Racing and eating with ‘Cookies’ BBQ, Taco and Hot Sauces, Seasonings, Dips and Salsa’s makes for a great combination.”
Kenny Wallace, “My wife and crew all enjoy ‘Cookies’ award winning products. That’s good for me; great nutrition along with great recipes, and a great sponsor for the #28 Chevy. Take a look at ‘Cookies’ great Sauces & Seasonings at www.cookiesbbq.com or by calling 1-800-331-4995.”
