Scott Lagasse Jr. to sport American Red Cross scheme at Darlington

Baker Curb Racing announced today that they will assist in the relief efforts for the flooding in Nashville by running an American Red Cross paint scheme on Scott Lagasse Jr.’s No. 43 Ford Fusion Friday in the Royal Purple 200 at Darlington Raceway. In addition, Greg Biffle’s No. 27 Red Man Moist Snuff Ford Fusion will carry an American Red Cross symbol on the C post.

NASCAR fans can show their support for The Nashville Area Red Cross and help in the efforts to continue providing relief to victims of disaster flooding several ways:

• Visit www.nashvilleredcross.org and click DONATE NOW to make an online gift

• Mail a check to the Nashville Area Red Cross at 2201 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203

• Call (615) 250-4300 to make a donation by phone

• Text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation on your mobile phone

The American Red Cross is not a government agency. All disaster assistance is free, and is funded solely by donations.

“I just moved into a place in Nashville about a month ago, so I saw firsthand the devastation that the flooding caused to the city and the surrounding areas,” said Lagasse Jr. “Many people were affected by the flooding including employees of our team. It is going to take a lot of time and effort to rebuild the city. In the time I’ve been in Nashville you can tell there is a strong sense of community here. Everyone is working together and we are proud to do our part by running the American Red Cross logo on the car this week. NASCAR fans always rise to the occasion when people are in need and I’m sure that many fans will call, go online or text their support to those in need in Nashville.”
