Denver, NC: Jason Keller continues his quest for a record 500th Nascar Nationwide Series start, which will take place in his home state of South Carolina. Keller will reach that achievement at Darlington on May 15th. As his team continues to build cars and equipment for the 2010 season, despite missing races in Daytona and Las Vegas, Keller and his group will continue to race for the season long points championship in the number 35 Chevrolet Impala SS.
Team General Manager Keith Barnwell states, “We dug ourselves a hole pretty early, and now we have to start running better and finishing races. Jason and Bryan (Bryan Berry, crew chief), have a great relationship and things are starting to come together. Remember, we only started putting this together around the middle of January, and we are still feeling the growing pains of starting a new team. Cars, people, equipment, transporters, etc. all play a major role in getting to the track and being successful, and we just put this deal together and took off to Daytona! Now we have had a couple of weeks to take a deep breath and concentrate on what we need to do. We will rely on Bryan and Jason’s experience to help us get to where we need to be to be competitive”.
TriStar is currently seeking sponsorship for the remaining 31 races on the Nationwide schedule. Please contact Keith Barnwell at kbarnwell@tsm3435.com to discuss any and sponsorship possibilities. (TriStar Motorsports)
