Richard Petty—arguably the most popular driver in the history of NASCAR, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series superstar Carl Edwards and track president Doug Fritz will participate in question and answer sessions prior to the Crown Royal Presents The Heath Calhoun 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
The Scotts Turf Builder fan hospitality is one of the best ways to enjoy your weekend at Richmond International Raceway. Admission to the Scotts Turf Builder Green Flag Zone on Saturday, May 1 includes:
- Pre-race pit pass (valid 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., time and weather permitting).

Petty won more races (13) at Richmond International Raceway than any other driver in the track’s history. His NASCAR career statistics are regarded as the standard of excellence in the annals of motorsports history. He is now an owner in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, fielding cars for Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler, AJ Allmendinger and Paul Menard.
Edwards has recorded two NASCAR Nationwide Series wins at Richmond International Raceway, but has yet to take the checkered flag in a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at America’s Premier Short Track. Edwards has earned a berth in the past five Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup title runs, with his best final point standings finish 2nd, in 2008.
