Qualifying: The better of two laps will determine a driver’s official qualifying speed for the Kobalt Tools 500. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Qualifying begins at 6:10 p.m. (EST) on Friday, March 5. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will provide qualifying coverage at 6:00 p.m. Cable channel SPEED will begin coverage at 6:00 p.m.
Radio/TV: Fox will televise the Kobalt Tools 500 live beginning at 1:00 p.m. with pre-race coverage beginning at noon. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will also broadcast the race live to its affiliate stations beginning at noon.
