No. 15 Germain Racing Team Rolls into Las Vegas Looking to Hit the Jackpot

Michael Annett and the No. 15

Pilot Travel Centers team hope to play their cards right at Las Vegas

Motor Speedway this weekend and bring home a top-10 finish in the NASCAR

Nationwide Series Sam’s Town 300.

“Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a really exciting track and it really fits

Michael’s driving style,” commented crew chief Ryan Fugle, “The team

has shown its strength in the last two races but we are really focused to

close out this weekend with a shining performance. We’re leaning on the

strength of our intermediate track program and hope to leave Las Vegas

with a top-10 finish.”

“I’m looking forward to getting on track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Germain Racing’s intermediate program is very strong. Historically we

have shown we run well on these 1.5 mile tracks. Our No. 15 Pilot Travel

Centers team is working really well together and we are looking to unload

strong and finish well this weekend at Las Vegas,” said Annett who

currently sits 12th in NASCAR Nationwide Series point standings.

While most Las Vegas visitors gear up for gambling with their good luck

charms close by their sides, Annett prepares for on-track performance with

a few superstitious amulets of his own. The young driver believes his

habit of putting everything on his left side first helps his chances at

success. Annett always puts his left pant leg, sleeve, shoe, glove and ear

mold in first for good luck, a ritual he learned from his father years

ago. Annett also takes a symbol of good luck with him on the track,

wearing a green four leaf clover on the back of all of his helmets.

Well prepared and ready to get on track, the No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers

team hits Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday beginning with practice and

final practice at 2 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET respectively. Saturday kicks

off with Nationwide Series qualifying at 12 p.m. ET. Both practices and

qualifying can be seen live on SPEED. Watch the Sam’s Town 300 at Las

Vegas Motor Speedway live at 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN 2.
