Atlanta Motor Speedway Announces Racing Roulette 50-Hour Sale

Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Racing Roulette promotion will return for its third-consecutive year with new twists to kick off the Speedway’s 50th Anniversary season, possibly resulting in the Speedway’s lowest-ever ticket prices for the March 7 Kobalt Tools 500.

Atlanta Motor Speedway will sell 2,000 tickets to the Kobalt Tools 500 priced to reflect the winning car number from this Sunday’s Daytona 500, twice as many tickets as offered in past years.

Fans can purchase 1,000 tickets in person at the Speedway’s Ticket Office beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, while 1,000 additional tickets will be made available online and via phone beginning at 9 a.m. to better accommodate fans. Fans will be limited to two tickets at the special-reduced price per purchase.

In addition to the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets, those in line will have the opportunity to win prizes, including a Victory Lane experience at the Kobalt Tools 500.

For those who miss out on the initial offering, the Racing Roulette 50-Hour Sale will continue through 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17 and fans can purchase additional tickets at a discount of buy one regularly-priced ticket ($85), get the second ticket for the price of the winning Daytona 500 car number.

In previous years, Atlanta Motor Speedway has sold tickets for $12 following Ryan Newman’s 2008 win and for $17 after Matt Kenseth won the event a year ago.

“We’re excited to bring back the Racing Roulette promotion for 2010,” said Ed Clark, Atlanta Motor Speedway president and general manager. “With Mark Martin and the No. 5 car on the pole and a number of other low-numbered cars running well, we’re eager to see how the Racing Roulette plays out this year.”

To ensure a great discount on Kobalt Tools 500 tickets, should any car numbered greater than No. 50 win the Daytona 500, the promotional price for the tickets will set at $50 to commemorate Atlanta Motor Speedway’s 50th Anniversary in 2010.
