Richard Childress Racing’s Kevin Harvick is battling flu-like symptoms at his home in North Carolina so teammate Clint Bowyer will drive the No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil Chevrolet in today’s two practice sessions for the 2010 Budweiser Shootout. Harvick has received medical attention for the illness and hopes to make it to Daytona later this evening. Bowyer, the driver of RCR’s No. 33 Cheerios/Hamburger Helper Chevrolet, did not qualify for this year’s non-points event.
