Welcome to TheHotLap.com, your source for NASCAR news, photos and discussion.
Just in time for the 2010 racing season, we’ve updated our site with many new features and elements to help us bring the action of NASCAR to you better than before! In 2009, over 5 million pages were viewed by NASCAR fans and thousands of pictures were posted. This year, we hope to top that with more great content.
Along with a new, faster site, we’ve also moved to an upgraded server. Our new home will help us grow into the future with more content, photos and great discussions.
Our vast image gallery has also had a makeover. Now, users can comment on any picture. Leave your comments, feedback and more. Plus, this year we’re adding pictures from most NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races along with select NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races.
Our new homepage features more content, news and pictures to help set the scene.
Along with reading various NASCAR news, you can vote in our weekly poll and answer our “question of the week.” Now, you can comment and react to any story or news item we post. Along with commenting, users can also now share posts via Facebook, Twitter, Delicious and other social networking platforms.
We’re also excited to welcome NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Reed Sorenson to our site. Each week, Sorenson will post behind-the-scenes details from on and off the track in a special blog.
TheHotLap.com is your source for NASCAR news, photos and discussion in 2010. Every lap counts, and this year TheHotLap.com is here to cover it all.

About THL
TheHotLap.com was founded in 2001 by Trackside Marketing Group as BGNRacing.com. In 2007 the site became TheHotLap.com after Anheuser-Busch ended their sponsorship of NASCAR’s second national series. THL is part of NASCAR’s newly formed NASCAR Citizen Journalist Media Corps and provides photos, stories and discussions from every track on the circuit throughout the NASCAR season. In 2009, THL expanded its coverage to include the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and will continue its commitment to NASCAR in 2010 with even more coverage and photos from trackside.
